# Pricing. One number, fixed before you commit.

Every build is priced from its blueprint: the workflow, the users, the integrations and the risks written down first, then one number in writing that only moves if the scope does. Builds are from £10,000, the first call is free, and every account and the code are yours.

**Summary:** Clientflow prices every build from its blueprint. The blueprint call is free; the blueprint takes one to two weeks and ends in one number in writing, which only moves if the scope does. Builds are from £10,000, in three published bands, and a version one costs about £800 a year to run in your own accounts, with nothing per seat. Support after launch is a fixed monthly fee, scoped with the build and optional. The cost of every AI attempt we throw away is inside the price.

## 1. The three bands

Three published bands, indicative until the blueprint turns one of them into a price. The price we quote is the total for the build. Third-party services are paid by you, directly, in your own name, and are itemised in the running-costs guide.

| Band | What it usually buys | Typical example |
| --- | --- | --- |
| **£10k to £25k** | A focused version one. One workflow done properly, one or two kinds of user, one or two systems connected. | A client portal for status, documents and approvals. An approval queue that replaces the spreadsheet it grew out of. |
| **£25k to £50k** | Several workflows that share data. More kinds of user, permissions by team or site, reporting, and deeper connections into finance or operations systems. | A supplier portal reading purchase orders from the accounts system and posting approvals back. A member app with booking, payments and a staff dashboard. |
| **£50k and above** | A system across the operation. Many roles, data moved out of an incumbent tool, compliance requirements and a release in phases. | An operations platform for a multi-site business with an integration to the till, the CRM and the payroll provider. |

Indicative. The [cost guide](https://www.clientflow.ai/guides/bespoke-software-development-cost-uk) has the five things that move a build between the bands, and the same bands in dollars.

## 2. What every build includes

The price only moves if the scope does. Everything here is inside it.

- The blueprint call: twenty minutes with the people who would scope the build, nothing to prepare, free.
- The blueprint: the workflow, the users, the integrations and the risks written down, with a clickable prototype and one fixed price.
- The warranty: anything that does not do what the blueprint says is ours to fix.
- The AI bill: every attempt, including the ones we throw away, is ours.

## 3. What it costs to run

A version one costs about £800 a year to run at list prices: hosting, a database with sign-in, transactional email, error monitoring and a domain, every account in your name and none of it per seat. The itemised list, with the dates the prices were read, is in the [running-costs guide](https://www.clientflow.ai/guides/running-costs). Support after launch is a fixed monthly fee, scoped with the build, and optional.

## 4. Questions people ask about the price

### Is the price really fixed?

Yes, once the blueprint is done and the price is in writing. It moves only if you change the scope, and then it moves in writing too, before the work rather than after it. That is what the blueprint is for: the scoping happens before the price is set, so it does not have to move.

### Do you work on a day rate?

No. Every build is priced as a whole from its blueprint. A day rate moves the risk of not knowing how long the work will take onto you. A fixed price keeps it with the people who can see the work, and it is what makes a version one date real.

### Is the blueprint call really free?

Yes. Nothing to prepare, and a straight answer, including the answer not to build. Some calls end with us recommending a product and sending no invoice. That is a good outcome, and it is why the call is free.

### Is the blueprint itself paid?

The blueprint is the first one to two weeks of a build and is inside the build’s price. It ends in the written scope, a clickable prototype and one price, and that price is what you commit to. Nothing is built before it.

### What does support cost after launch?

A fixed monthly fee, scoped with the build, and optional. It is not published, because it depends on what the system does and how much you want us in the loop; it is in writing before launch. Ending it changes nothing about the software, which keeps running in your accounts with any developer you choose.

### Do we pay for the AI attempts that fail?

No. We build with AI coding tools, with a senior engineer reading every change and tests around anything that carries money or personal data, and the cost of every attempt, including the ones we throw away, is inside the fixed price. You never see an AI bill from us.

### What is not included in the price?

Third-party services, which you pay directly in your own name: hosting, the database, email, monitoring and a domain, plus the store fees if there is a phone app. Payment processing, which is a percentage set by the provider. And anything outside the blueprint, which is scoped and priced in writing before it is built.

### Why from £10,000?

Because that is the smallest build we can do well at a fixed price: one workflow done properly, in production, used by real people, with the blueprint, the build, the handover and the warranty inside it. If what you need is smaller than that, we will say so on the call, and a good freelancer will do it for less.
